  • TO: Pacal Ermal
FROM: Gojong of Silla, Emperor of Korea

    Great Republic of Maya,

We are happy to report we support your proposal towards the concept of "Dza Ootzil Ohel Aantik." We believe, as the smallest nation on Terra, that in the wake of imperialistic wars, the collapse of an Empire greater than ours, and the new colonization and emancipation issues that have arisen lately more diminutive states such as Korea would be better served/protected if we somehow got a small leg-up. We believe this would certainly help us, and I believe I speak for other nations of our stature.

    We publicly support the proposal.

      Greetings, neighbour,

I have heard our recent communication with Sparta has caused some dissatisfaction among your kind. All my apologies. Let me set clear that I won't ever turn on my ally in the name of an other nation like my predecessor did.

While I would support a campain against emancipation in my Empire or on the lands of an ally requesting my help, I certainly wouldn't fight where I am not desired.

I hope this may change your subjects' mind about the new Piercian Empire.

The hard rockin', fast livin', Metalhead empire doth formally acknowledge the wisdom behind the Dza Ootzil Ohel Aantik proposal and indicate our vote that such a scheme, in its current iteration of 3 vouchers for the bottom 5 and 2 for the next lowest 5, be adopted. Such a proposal, we feel will address the inequity which had hitherto been ignored by the civilized peoples of the world.

Furthermore, I, as acting representative and head of the diverse peoples of the Metalhead empire, do solemnly implore the right honorable gentleman from the Mayan empire to rock out with his **** out.

        • The Celtic people have received rumor that people in a distant land want to spread their knowledge with the wrold by providing new technology. Having never met these "Mi-Yans", we are unsure if this is fact or fiction. If it is indeed true, the Celtic people welcome new research in our homeland.

          • To the Piercians

Piercians from the West, anwer me.
You have declared war upon us.
We, the Russians, aren't shy of some warmongering, especially since we have a lasting peace with our neighbours, the Romans.
Our young men became a bit bored.
I was happy that I could send some knights to the battle fields in the west.

But what is it that you want?
Do you really want to clash our armies on the battle fields?
We used to be friends, then we became enemies, now we are even at war.
I'd be happy to test our young men's strength, if that is what you want.

But if you want peace, and give both Russia and Piercia a chance to rebuild their nations, please speak up about that now.

              Greetings King Suryavarman!
May I ask you to move your scouts from our western boarders, back to our inner lands?
I do prefer that nobody sees our works of defence during these times of war.

              I hope you do understand,

King Orestes, we haven't heard anything yet about these rumours of emancipation riots.
But that may be related to the fact that all Russians are currently enjoying the new period of peace we are having under the new Pax Romana.

I do however support you in your attempt to stop foreign nations to adopt this 'Emancipation' and start unrests in other nations.
We, Russians, are currently enjoying the fruits of our caste system to the max!
I do certainly believe that it is very well needed that different kinds of people perform different task for Mother Russia.
In the end all Russians are for obvious reasons equal. But that doesn't mean that everybody can or should be able to do everything.

I want to live up to the caste system.
All equal Russians living in separated castes without riots between the castes.

                    Greetings,

My troops have been ordered to kill any Russian on sight as answer to your disloyalty towards your master. I will not reconsider this.

However, as long as you stay out of piercian lands, your men won't get harmed. Stay away and don't you ever come across my way again.

I hope I have made myself clear.

PS : Horse Valley, Le'O and Rough Kho'Per (Guard City as Rome calls it) are still considered piercian lands.

                      Greetings, neighbour,

A messenger of yours has requested an answer to your "Dza Ootzil Ohel Aantik" purposal. While the formalities are still some mystery to me, I understand and support your motivations.

If you consider the Piercian Empire to be in need of humanitarian help, this may be your point of view. But to be honest, what we need now is assistance in getting back what is rightfully ours, so that your generosity may profit other nations which need it much more.

                      • Aun'O Es'Ther Per'Hyl,

I hear what you are saying.
I am sure that we can debate the course of history forever.
Truth is that Russia feels deeply betrayed by Piercia as well.
First we were at war with Rome, at the very moment that our soldiers, slaved at many costs, were ready to take back what Rome had token from us, you forced a peace treaty on us.
Then, years later, when our entire government was gone, and nobody was leading us, except the Piercians, you forced a war with Rome upon us.
In which the Romans were able to take two cities of us!

It was only because of the brave fighting of the Russian soldiers and the many sacrifices of the Russian citizen, that we could liberate one of our cities, and with tough negotiations with the Russian sword on the table, could get back our 2nd city.

Now I understand that you may have a different opinion on history, but I Believe that there are some facts in what I said that are not a matter of debate.

                        What do you want?
You want to continue this war, and battle our vengeance till there's no Russian or Piercian citizen left over?
Russia is willing to fight! We were able to drive back the Romans. We aren't incapable on the battle fields.

Or do you want to bring peace to your people?
Do you want to lead your people back to the past of hate, or to the future of peace?

I hope it'll be peace, but I am certainly ready for war.
More troops are on their way!

                        Joseph Stalin

Suryavarman 2 was the last of the despots to rule the Khmer.

He lies close to death and very near to Shiva and Ganesh.

He reflected upon his empire and knew that it had reached its' height under him.
