Peircia: It appears our explorers arrived at Meeting a bit too late for the meeting. Thank you for allowing them safe passage however. Yours is an impressive nation, and it is good to see a fellow jungle civilization flourish. I hope the issue of Cozumel does not create bad blood between our people. I cannot however either afford or justify offering payment for the island. Perhaps in the future the Maya will offer a gift to bring our people closer together, but it will be a gift, not a payment.
    To:Mel Gibson of the Mayan
From:Emperor Asiz of the Piercian Empire

    Greetings, Mel Gibson,

Delegates from foreign lands are always welcome to visit my Empire. Call it however you wish, your willing to compensate in any way for Esther's island is noticed and appreciated.

        The Maya Sophia

        The Maya Sophia

After many years of back breaking labor, Mel Gibson's grand project, the Maya Sophia is completed in the city of Palenque.

Built for use as a Taoist temple, the Maya Sophia is rivaled only by the great Japanese Pyramids in terms of sheer size. In terms of architectural beauty, it has no rival.

Advanced building techniques utilized in it's construction have revolutionized Mayan labor as well. These efficiencies help greatly to further develop Mayan growth against the backdrop of the unforgiving jungle.

The preists were armed and ran through the citys and towns. They slaughtered thousands of infidels in their wake. The King sent word to the army to stop them but the army turned on the king and slew him.

Religous fever ran rampant through the lands.

Death to the infidels was the cry.

            Library od Ino

After weeks of searching page after page in the Ino
library, Itoku finally found something useful. “The
Legend of the Nine ”, this was the name of the legend
he search was searching for. He sat and began to read
            the legend.

Long ago a demon warlord named Tolpa tried to take
the world of man for himself. He brought forth an army
of dammed souls to help him. In a matter of only days
he was able to take over most of Japan. Only one man
stood in the way of him taking the rest of the world.
This man was known only as The Ancient. They fought
for days with no end until The Ancient was finally able of
cast the demon back to the netherworld.

Somehow Tolpa’s armor, which was enfused with
demonic powers, stayed behind. So to prevent Tolpa
from returning the Ancient defused the armor into nine
diffent suits of armore. Each armor was then infused
with a virtue: Jin (Righteousness), Gi (Justice), Rei
(Courtesy), Chi (Intellect), Shin (Faith), Chuu (Loyalty),
Tei (Obedience), Kou (Reverence for elders), and Nin (To
bear pain quietly). Each armor gave whoever wore it
enhanced strength and endurance. Each of the five
Ronin armors (Wildfire, Torrent, Hardrock, Strata, and
Halo) have elemental affinities: Fire, Water, Earth, Air,
and Light. Each armor could draw power from its
respective element to give the wearer a power boost.

The four Warlord armors each have an affinity for one of
the seasons: Cruelty with Spring, Illusion with Summer,
Venom with Autumn, and Corruption with Winter. The
Warlord armors also represent a different animal:
Cruelty is an Ogre, Illusion is a Spider, Venom is a
Snake, and Corruption is a Jackal.

When all nine armores were conbined for good the
White Armor of the Inferno arose. The power of this
armor was only ever achive once by the First Emperor
Jimmu. He used the power to bring Japan out from the
darkness into the light. From what was told Each armor
except the Wildfire broke off and spread out to different
parts of the world to await the one who would bring
            them back.

If it wear not for the fact that Itoku arlready had the
Wild fire armor he would have never thought the story
to be true. This is it, he said to himslef. I must
go travel the world and find the other eight. It is the
only way to get the Kusanagi.
            He then made his
way back to Kyoto to get a ship worthy enough to sail
the open seas to find what he was searching for.

            Back on Ansuji

At the same time Itoku began to travel to Kyoto,
Hanzo’s forces landed on Ansuji Island. The White Lotus
had mad minimal repairs since the encounter against
the barbarian warship. Now that they had landed the
captain decided to make the much needed repairs
before sailing back home to Japan. With the vast
amounts of trees It would not be long until the ship
            could be on it’s was.

Hanzo was in a hurry to find the enemy before they
were found so his forces moved quickly to the center of
Ansuji. There he hoped to find a Takeda strong hold
that he could take as his own. He know that with a city
of his own he would be able to use it to expand to all
parts of Ansuji. Not only that but it would give him the
rare chance to be able to build the army he needs to
fully push out the Barbarian threat. So Hanzo along with
his men pushed on, up the peninsula and throw the
vast forest looking for what might or might not be there.

Your discovery of new lands beyond the coast intrigues us. However, your claims to those lands dismays us. Do you have colonies there? Does your culture hold influence there? Or are these "claims" based simply on missives sent back from your explorer parties? If I was to claim every peice of unoccupied land my explorers set eyes upon my empire would stretch half the world. Portugal and Maya have always had good relations in the past, and your sharing of military knowledge has benefited us greatly. It would be tragic for disputes over unsettled land to sour our relationship.
              Greetings Mel Gibson

I solute your advancements in seafaring technologies.

About New Portugal, YES we hold a colony there and our culture is growing with every day. We do not claim unoccupied land, but only the land on which we build cities on. There are no disputes here Gibson; only the simple fact that Portugal has claimed the land where our colony stands, which we have the full right. The unoccupied land is free for all to have. The kingdom of Khmer said ones that possible borders need to be drawn, well except Portugal there are no other settlements on the land we discovered. Currently Portuguese borders are around our colony, maybe when in the future other settle borders can be discussed. But until then Portugal has only to negotiate with the local nomads.

My messengers have transported it all the way from Athens to the Mayan lands. It was created by our finest artist, Artholos.

Hail Marco of the Portuguese Empire,

Congratulations on your discovery of new worlds!
I am surprised and impressed by the naval knowledge and technology Portugal has!

I do definitely acknowledge the Portuguese claim on these new lands. Sparta has no desires to settle anywhere else then on the Spartan subcontinent.
Your great achievements should be awarded by being allowed to settle on these new lands!

I send you this statue, made by our finest artist, Artholos, to bring it to the new world. You can place it in the new settlement of Portugal as a sign of our friendship!

I thank you for your support in recognizing our new settlement and right to settle New Portugal. Please send Artholos our gratitude, we will send one of our ships to pick it from beautiful Athens and bring it over to our colony. There it will be placed in the town’s main plaza where all can see that Sparta and Portugal are friends.

Daemok's Vision and the Oldonian Purge!

...the Korean travellers, along with their new Olodonian companion, continued their journey to Piercia. Among the group was Corporal Bak Moon, Harald Sigurdsson of Gateway, General Jumong of Korea, and of course Pong; the General's loyal servant. The purpose of their trip was two-fold the first and most obvious was to travel throughout the lands of the northern Kingdoms and to eventually rendezvous with the crew of the K.S.S. Sinjeong (captained by General Han Gong) to return to Korea. Harald was the son of the governor of an Oldonian frontier town called Gateway. He was in search of adventure like many young men, and hoped that traveling with the Korean General Jumong would serve him well in this regard. The Koreans did, after all, defeat a barbarian army outside of the city, and Harald longed to see some action in his life. Harald did promise the General an audience with King Jeffrey, so the next stop for the group was to the capital...

                              The Oldonian "Inquisition"....

The army of Korean marched northbound on the road from Gateway, Harald was sure the capital was to the north (but failed to admit he had never left Gateway in his entire life) and swore up and down that the army would be there shortly. General Jumong was begining to suspect that Harald had no idea what he was talking about, "This better be it boy!" he said, chomping down on an apple "We don't have time for a tour of this wretched country!" he said, spitting out a seed.

"Our maps aren't very good General," Harald said "They're mostly artistic, but its beyond these mountains here, to the east are the Wyandots!" Harald said, walking next to the General; he was not given a horse.

"Well, it is no matter to me" Jumong said tossing the applecore to the ground "Like I said, you show me King Jeffrey and I shall provide you with a horse, Pong's horse!"

"General!?" Pong said, riding on the other side of the General upon an ass, "This is no horse!"

"STOP!!!" Corporal Bak Moon exclaimed, "Look ahead, Harald, what town is that?"

Beyond the hills ahead a plume of smoke billowed into the air, a thin outline of a town could be seen through the smoke, Harald looked down at his map. And then back up again, confused.

                              "Well?!?!?" General Jumong asked.

"That's, well that's Oldonia, our capital!" Harald said, astonished, why was it burning?

"That's the capital?" the General said "What's with all of the smoke? Are you at war?" ge asked.

"I'm not exactly sure what is going on," Harald said, his first thoughts went directly to his family in Gateway, the city was poorly defended and if Oldonia was truly at war he would have to turn around and warn them, "Perhaps we should enter the city, and see what is happening."

"Enter the city?" Pong asked, "What if there is a war, we can't just walk right in there, we represent Emperor Sejong General, we can't drag ourselves into-"

"Shut up Pong!" General Jumong said, leaning forward resting his arms on his horse's head, "Alright, Corporal, give the Oldonian your horse!" he said to Bak Moon, "We're going in there..."

                              Oldonia, Capital of Oldonia...

Unbeknownst to Harald and Jumong Oldonia had fallen under the grip of Islam, a religion that has spread throughout many northern Kingdoms and finally reached the Oldonian capital. This religion was based on the teachings of the Jewish tradition of Portugal, but had spread into its own religion and had done so quickly. Jeffrey, the newly appointed King of Oldonia, was slow to adopt the religion. There are many suggestions as to why the King was unwilling to accept the new faith, ranging from the ludicrous (that he was appointed by satan) to the more plausible (rumors spread about his homosexuality due to his effeminate nature, this type of activity was wholly unacceptable to the Islamic faith, even if he were to "accept" it). Either way, Jeffrey was slain by Islamist fanatics in the capital, these fanatics continued to burn down the homes of non-believers (or infadels) and seize their property. A new day was truly dawning on Oldonia and General Jumong was there to greet it...

"I can't tell if this is destruction or if your capital is always this much of a sh*thole!" General Jumong said, as the two trotted down the streets of the Oldonian capital.

Harald did not respond, he simply looked around aghast.

"What the hell is the matter with you?" General Jumong, "never seen a war before? I thought you were a garrison commander?"

"This is strange General" Harald said, "Look, its sporadic, not all of the homes are destroyed" Harald pointed out, correctly, that the damage seemed to be specifically directed at certain homes, there were nobody on the streets.

"You're right" Jumong said, fixing one of his hands to his sword-handle, "You are armed right?"

"Yes I am" Harald said as they turned a bend, right into the waiting arms of a group of soldiers... and they didn't look happy.

"HALT!" one of the men said, clad in Oldonian armor, "Are you believers!" he said.

General Jumong spoke before Harald could open his mouth, "I am General Jumong of Goguryeo, Commander for his majesty Emperor Sejong of Korea. We come to speak with King Jeffrey of Oldonia" he asid looking around at the scene of destruction, "That is if he is available?"

"Who's this?" the Oldonian said, referring to Harald.

"This is my servant, Harald!" Jumong said, "He guides me through your lands, I bought him in Gateway for a small pittance, he is my property." the General said.

"Is he a believer in the great prophet, the last and true prophet, and the one and only God Allah?" the man said.

The General had no idea what this guy was talking about, "He is a believer in the fact that I own his ass, and he believes whatever I tell him to believe."

"So you are saying he is not Korean? Not a believer in Allah, and his prophet?" the man asked, the men looked restless, the General was a little concerned.

"Listen here!" Jumong said, "We travel through your lands on a diplomatic mission, surely your god, this Allah would not appreciate what I can tell you intend on doing. He is my property, he is nothing more, and certainly of no obligation to your or your religion. I will have you know that an Imperial Korean army stands outside of this city and it would be quite a shame to see them come in here and make short work of your rabble and their little religion." the man was not pleased with what Jumong had to say, "But I understand pride, and I respect your command, so you will let us pass and we will not harm you, we simply come to speak with King Jeffrey!"

The Oldonian man stood there, still holding his weapon, "Well, we do not ask for war with the Koreans certainly not. But King Jeffrey, the boy-lover, is dead. He was an infadel of unmatched ill-repute, and was dealt with accordingly. We ask that you return to your army and be on your way."

"Very good, might as I ask your name sir?"

                              "My name?" the Oldonian said.

"Yes of course, your name, so I may send word to my Emperor. So that he may have his ministers send word to you, as you appear to be in charge here." General Jumong said, in an attempt to flatter the Oldonian.

"Well yes, yes of course" the Oldonian said, "I am Gunhard son of Ander, Gunhard Andersson."

"Thank you, and good luck with all of... well this, I guess." General Jumong said. The two turned around and quickly gallopped away.

"What the hell was that?" Harald said "I am your servant?"

"Yes, what did you expect me to do? They would have killed you for sure. There is no Oldonia right now, we need to get out of this hell-hole, how far are the Wyandot lands?" Jumong asked.

"Not far, there are two Razite villages to the east of here, but I worry we are going to encounter more of these Islamists." Harald said.

                              Daemok's Chamber, the Imperial Palace...

Daemok, the former Queen of the Maya, sat alone in her room again. Over the last few weeks she had been in a mushroom-crazed stupor. She found a connection in Wonsan (a Taoist town in the north of Korean) when she visited the city with her brother months ago. Finally the connection had come through and she had her mushrooms again. It helped her cope with the loss of Pacal, in her mind at least. There were drawbacks of course, she became more distant with her son, Pacal Voltan, and her family. In fact, she missed the marriage of her brother Sejong. None of this mattered to her though; she was now pampered, and no longer felt like a prisoner in her own home. Although now the mushrooms were her warden. A servant walked in with the latest batch...

"Here you are Princess." he said, handing her a small container. He dutifully bowed and quickly left the room. Daemok did not want word of her 'hobby' to leave the room.

She ate the mushrooms, and fifteen minutes later they began to kick in. She fell backward onto her bed and smiled. It had been years since she had a vision but the streak was about to end. All of the sudden the room grew brighter, and the silhouette of a warrior walked towards her...

As the warrior approached it became evident that he was not human, but half man half tiger. The warrior took off his helmet and placed it at his feet. "Daemok" he began, "Daemok, what are you doing? What have you done?"

Daemok stood there, she knew she was hallucinating, but replied anyway, "I have done nothing."

"You missed your brother's wedding Daemok" the Tiger said, "Your son grows into a man and you have missed it all. You have shirked your responsibilities."

"I have no responsibilities!" she said.

"Is that right?" the Tiger asked. "What of your Kingdom? It is in the hands of a madman, he works his people to the bone, forcing them to build monuments to his honor. He is of savage blood. He works your people as if they were slaves."

"I don't know what you are talking about Pacal is dead, I am not Queen of the Maya any longer!"

"Once a Queen always a Queen. You are the mother of Voltan, it is your duty to prepare him for his destiny. You have failed, it is your bastard brother who performs this duty now, you have failed Pacal!"

"I want this to stop!" Daemok exclaimed.

"Daemok, you must prepare him, for his destiny..."

                              "MAKE IT STOP!" Daemok said.
                              "Daemok!"

                              "Make it stop!" Daemok cried.

"It's me, it's your brother!" Sejong said, shaking his sister, she looked around the room and everone was there. General Shin Sung, Empress Soheon, and even her son Pacal Voltan. Sejong placed a wet towel over her forehead, "I've known about this for some time sister."

"No wait, you don't understand-" Daemok said.

"Get up, c'mon" Sejong said, helping her to her feet, "I am going to have to put you under supervision."

Daemok looked at her son, who was shaking his head. He had an angry look on his face. "Pacal," she said "Honey, I-"

Pacal Voltan simply turned his head and walked out of the room...

The Islamic priests and their armies ran rampant through all of the realm of Oldonia. Every province was a target of the new order. But to the south the old fortress of Forrest Hill held firm.

They defeated the first attacks of the Islamics and begun forcing them back. The army led by General Kevin Oldson first set up defences in the central province and cleared the citys of the Islamic terrorists.

He then led his army south and reclaimed the Peninsula provinces.

He gathered more men to his side and headed north to the province of Nip. Here he found the true Oldonians had held true and already routed the islamics.

Kevin, or big kev as he was known to his friends and foes alike due to his tall stature and round figure, sent the Nip province army east to check on the provinces of South Oldonia and gateway. Once those provinces were freed they were to rejoin in the north.

Big Kev led his army northwards, the cavalry charged ahead of the foot soldiers to gather information. As they rounded the edge of the Great moutnains and saw the once beautiful city ahead, the capital of all the Oldonian Kingdom, they stopped in horror. The city and the sourrounding towns were ablaze. This was the stronghold of the islamics.

As they gazed down on the city an Oldonian farmer came our of hiding in the hills and approached the General.

Sire, the Islamics.... they ... they

Spit it out old man, what do you say

They have slain the king and murdered thouasands of innocent people. They are many my lord.

This will not go unpunished, but i have only half my army with me at present. I need reinforcemnts to take back this city

Just then a scout rode up and saluted.

Sire, news my lord. I have seen a korean army on the east of the city. Your orders my lord

Big Kev smiled. The koreans would love a fight as much as he himself would.

We ride and go speak with this army

General Kevin set his army up on the hill and took with him his son John and another friend Andy.

Lets go meet these koreans i have heard so much about.
