Peircia: It appears our explorers arrived at Meeting a bit too late for the meeting. Thank you for allowing them safe passage however. Yours is an impressive nation, and it is good to see a fellow jungle civilization flourish. I hope the issue of Cozumel does not create bad blood between our people. I cannot however either afford or justify offering payment for the island. Perhaps in the future the Maya will offer a gift to bring our people closer together, but it will be a gift, not a payment.

Emperor Asiz of the Piercian Empire

...the Korean travellers, along with their new Olodonian companion, continued their journey to Piercia. Among the group was Corporal Bak Moon, Harald Sigurdsson of Gateway, General Jumong of Korea, and of course Pong; the General's loyal servant. The purpose of their trip was two-fold the first and most obvious was to travel throughout the lands of the northern Kingdoms and to eventually rendezvous with the crew of the K.S.S. Sinjeong (captained by General Han Gong) to return to Korea. Harald was the son of the governor of an Oldonian frontier town called Gateway. He was in search of adventure like many young men, and hoped that traveling with the Korean General Jumong would serve him well in this regard. The Koreans did, after all, defeat a barbarian army outside of the city, and Harald longed to see some action in his life. Harald did promise the General an audience with King Jeffrey, so the next stop for the group was to the capital...
The army of Korean marched northbound on the road from Gateway, Harald was sure the capital was to the north (but failed to admit he had never left Gateway in his entire life) and swore up and down that the army would be there shortly. General Jumong was begining to suspect that Harald had no idea what he was talking about, "This better be it boy!" he said, chomping down on an apple "We don't have time for a tour of this wretched country!" he said, spitting out a seed.
Unbeknownst to Harald and Jumong Oldonia had fallen under the grip of Islam, a religion that has spread throughout many northern Kingdoms and finally reached the Oldonian capital. This religion was based on the teachings of the Jewish tradition of Portugal, but had spread into its own religion and had done so quickly. Jeffrey, the newly appointed King of Oldonia, was slow to adopt the religion. There are many suggestions as to why the King was unwilling to accept the new faith, ranging from the ludicrous (that he was appointed by satan) to the more plausible (rumors spread about his homosexuality due to his effeminate nature, this type of activity was wholly unacceptable to the Islamic faith, even if he were to "accept" it). Either way, Jeffrey was slain by Islamist fanatics in the capital, these fanatics continued to burn down the homes of non-believers (or infadels) and seize their property. A new day was truly dawning on Oldonia and General Jumong was there to greet it...
"This is my servant, Harald!" Jumong said, "He guides me through your lands, I bought him in Gateway for a small pittance, he is my property." the General said.
Daemok, the former Queen of the Maya, sat alone in her room again. Over the last few weeks she had been in a mushroom-crazed stupor. She found a connection in Wonsan (a Taoist town in the north of Korean) when she visited the city with her brother months ago. Finally the connection had come through and she had her mushrooms again. It helped her cope with the loss of Pacal, in her mind at least. There were drawbacks of course, she became more distant with her son, Pacal Voltan, and her family. In fact, she missed the marriage of her brother Sejong. None of this mattered to her though; she was now pampered, and no longer felt like a prisoner in her own home. Although now the mushrooms were her warden. A servant walked in with the latest batch...
As the warrior approached it became evident that he was not human, but half man half tiger. The warrior took off his helmet and placed it at his feet. "Daemok" he began, "Daemok, what are you doing? What have you done?"
