Maybe some of you have to get used to the ultra-short vote period. I'll extend this period to October 10th to give you guys an extra chance to vote for this month (and receive votes)

Some players have given much military votes to one particular civ in both august and september, while that civ was only in september in a war.

Is this on purpose? Or did you guys forget that you already awarded this civ last month?

If you want to correct this, please do this before october 10th

@Rasputin: ask one of the score-wise best players to login to your game now and then and advise you! Maybe Portugal or Khmer, in example, are willing to login every 2,3 or 4 turns to just give you some suggestions. That'll teach you a lot and may help you to get your civ on track!

What I don't understand: you're in the middle of the score-table, you're not doing bad at all, score-wise.

Much slave in all of maya. It was suppose to coincide with my civil war (explaining the drop in population), but the timing was a little off.

From what I have seen the vikings have had it pritty good. If I had half the resorces they have I would be a top civ.

I have Vikings's pass. I will log in 4-5hrs to see what advices I can give them to imp their game.

Quite possibly. I did say i am not a good player. so need to allude to that.

As to resources..

The Japanese have iron, we have iron.

The japanese were given the landbridge for expansion which has copper on it which we have.

We have marble, it has been or little use to us . My inabiltiy to know its power perhpas.

We have silver, good for happiness.

We have corn

The seas have not been good to us. in all our coast we only have one site to develop crabs. no fish nothing else along our whole coastline.

We almost have horses. It is the most attacked spot in my nation by barbarians. I place units on the pasutre and they die. i put my units in the hills near pasture and they die. it has been a long hard battle.

I hide nothing from the world.

If i had spare units i would send multiple ones there.

I started in the middle of this vast area and have been udner attack from every side of my nation all game. Not every attack is as bad as others.

But cannot build units quikc enough to stack multiple defenders in same location.

Fighting barbs to south, south west , east and north, nothing arived from West which is ocean (so far)

i am getting on top of them slowly but it is darining myecnomy to maintain a large force of soldiers on patrol constantly.

but i will get there... plans are in palce...

The natives are a great help to me, they are currenlty patrolling my Easern border to prevent attacks from barbs

Despite both ther native and myself having a medium score in game we both are not blessed with a huge economy to build unending forces.

however we are doing what we can.

what pisses me off is all the wanderers through my nation on the way to that damn stupid roman meeting who try to walk around the Barbarians rather than stopping to help me fight them.

I have to concur with the Vikings concerning units. My away costs are stagnating my own economy while I assist in the western Oldonia/Wyandot patrols and building a road to the Peircian city of Meeting.

However, on a high note; The road linking the Peircian city of "Meeting" with the Wyandot city of "Mound City" is now complete (or if not quite finished, it will be next turn)! I will then move my work force and military escort back into proper Wyandot territory, which should help ease the bleeding of gold from the Wyandot coffers.

unfortunalt some barbarians have detroyed part linking my central and eastern provinces , the southern civs just wlakked past the barb pilaging the road.
