Follow the link I gave you, at the end of that thread is another guide someone put together for folks without photoshop. Not as simple or easy as my guide though...

I don't know if you know this but when you get a tech that unlocks a civic the computer doesn't give you the option to convert and when you get a wonder the vidio is nothing but static.
      Thanks for the feedback.

As far as the civic thing and the wonder movie; I didn't experience this problem at all. Anyone else have this happen to them?

      • Ozzy, could you tell me specifically which images don't show up correctly? Because they all show up fine on mine, thus I don't know which images I have to change.

        • I don't know if it is my computer or the game but when I try to select something for my city to build or when I choose a promotion for my troops I have to click it 5-6 times before it does anything.

There are far too many to list. Try putting all your graphics settings on low.

            • Cappo, you have truly out done yourself with the Japanese units. All the early ground units look cool especially the Musket men. You get an A++ for them and an A++++++++++++ for adding ninja. The Ships on the other hand look too much the same especially the galleon and the frigate, which is a big downer for me.

              • Well Ozzy could you post a screen shot of what you are talking about for me? Sorry, I just don't really understand what you are trying to say. And I don't know how to lower my graphics settings.

                • I have a question about the new religions. Can you only get them if you play a custon game or can you also get them in a reg single player?

Go to the link I gave you earlier:
Ok, this has long been a mystery for me. Some mods I've seen have buttons that look nice, crisp and normal sized all all the default Vanilla/BTS buttons. But others, many others, the buttons look very blurry and when seen in the civilopedia are much smaller in size than the vanilla icons...

I have an example there of how the buttons look. Your buttons look exactly like the ones in the example.

To change your graphic settings, on the main screen go to Advanced ---> Options ---> Graphics.

Then change your settings to these:

                      • Alright, I am going to have to make those changes when I get some time on my hands to do it. I'll put that out coming up soon, but please try and play on (even if you are getting these image errors) to test everything else in the mod. MOST people (ie those who didn't lower their graphic settings) shouldn't even notice the problem, and clearly they haven't.

As for the new religions, YES, just as I said in the post with the download you MUST select CUSTOM GAME and CHOOSE RELIGIONS in order to get the new religions. So if you are not playing in this manner you will NOT be able to found Aesir Mythology, Olympic Pantheon, Pesedjet, Toltec Faith, Voodoo, Shinto or Zoroastrianism. This was the only way to have new religions and limit them to seven total. Normally we play diplogames with the choose religions option enabled.

                        • I assume there are no other problems then? Sounds good, the graphics issue shouldn't be too hard... just tedious... like everything else has been.

Anyway, after I fix those graphics I am going to reupload it so everyone can use it properly (although those of you who have settings on medium to normal SHOULD be fine). Another thing I am doing (and this is partially to get me ready for the European mod) is setting up modules to make sure I got that handled.

What this will allow us to do is plug in new civs that are removeable. So for instance; if in the future deity wants to be Australia (not only because he is Australian, but also because he was Australia in HOTW2) in a diplogame but the rest of us don't necessarily want to add new civs to the diplogame mod (in case people decide to play the mod on their own time) we can use modules.

Basically this is how modules work. If you notice in the filestructure of the mod there is a folder entitled "modules," well what the concept of modules does (and this mod as them enabled) is allow us to easily add civilizations and remove them without much trouble. You simply place a folder for that civ inside the "module" folder and voila! New civ. And you can just as easily remove that folder and the civilization is gone.

So basically, if you want to be a country that doesn't exist in our mod, it can be added.

In the module pack there is going to be Hungary (you're welcome Ozzy), and I am probably going to do three other surprise civilizaions. I'll probably do another European one (I was thinking Italy or Sweden), an Ancient or Middle Eastern one (like Phoenicia, Scythians, or Hittites), an Eastern Asian one (like the Cham empire or Vietnam), and then something random. I can take requests if you'd like but for the random one I was considering a lot of different ideas, but a lot of more "modern" countries:

                          Australia
Brazil/Gran Colombia/Argentina/Venezuela (something modernish and in South America, in preparation for the real starting location world map)
Songhai/Nubia (something to add to Africa)
                          Polynesians
                          Canada

I don't know, but the REASON Hungary is going to be in (if you must know) is because it already exists and I am using it as a base to learn how to do the others. And the reason I am making the others is to get the hang of making new civs so I can do it for Europe. So basically if you don't want any new civs to add to your game, don't bother complaining about too many obscure civilizations because you DON'T have to add them. If you think it'd be cool to have some new civs please give me suggestions.

AND OF COURSE: If you are still testing this mod out (which I hope you are, despite the graphic issues for those of you with low graphics settings) please try as much out as you and let me know any issues you are witnessing or suggestions you may want to make, no matter how ridiculous you may think it is!

                          Thanks.

                            • Fantastic, so it looks like the only problems are the graphical issues, which is great to me. A few extra things I noticed that I am also going to fix, in case you guys noticed it too:

                              1) Iroquois UU, Mohawk Warrior, wasn't changed to its final version, so that will be changed.

                              2) German "Heavy Footman" button shows up as an archer button

                              3) The Israeli city "Megiddo" is incorrectly tagged as HAR_MEGIDDO, so that will be changed as well.

                              4) Iroquois UB, Longhouse, didn't provide lowered upkeep enough. It has a 60% modifier, this will be altered.

There will also be a module pack that I am going to provide with it as well. So that will be a fun little addition, and I have the next two days off but tuesday I will be busy because I have volunteered to drive people to polling places in Virginia. But hopefully all of this will be finished by the end of this week, the graphic changes seem like a daunting task unfortunately. But the rest shouldn't be too hard.

                              • Well don't worry about the graphic changes. I guess most people don't use low graphic settings (all you lucky bastards with good computers) so it probably isn't worth sweating over.
