(John Williams? That's not a viking name... Jòn = John. And William is as unviking as Siddharta. There are webpages for foreignculture names you know... And viking names tend to end in the Fathers firstname given the suffix -son. For example Erik the Red would name his son, Leiv his last name becoming Erikson. Leiv Eriksson would name his son Thorkil and he would be Thorkil Leifsson/Leivison (or similar), a daughter might be named Freydis Leifsdottir. This namegiving tradition disappeared from the scandinavian countries in the 1800's, but I believe is still continued on Iceland and possibly some other islands in the north sea like the Faeroyes. Sorry to get all retentive on you, but my norse pride grows strong at times...
One day, the piercian scout division was really scared by what they saw. Walking on the riverside, one of them saw movement in the water not too far away. He decided to investigate and what he saw was a great creature... at least, a part of it :
