    @Ras: I've never won a game, though I concider the early game to be important nevertheless. It's about picking cities, making choises, deciding about the style of your civ, your faith, etc.

            I think someone was missing next week.
            But since most probably any day anybody is missing, we'd better start as soon as we've got the map done.

            I'll start the game as soon as I got the map.

                We're almost there. Just waiting on the map. For a game that'll potentially go for 2 years, people should have more patience during the set up phase to make sure we get ti right.

                  VERY true.

                  I was under the impression that we were starting at the begining of June, and I had to wait for the civ list. Bottom line is I haven't put much more work into the map in the past week.

                  Now I am going away this weekend. Like I just said though, I didn't think this would be a problem because we were talking about starting next weekend.

                  At any rate, I will try to finish it ASAP.

                    Well there was no reason to wait for the civ list. The civs can be edited at any time. Finishing the map is a priority and the last thing the game is waiting on.

                      Well the second pitboss diplo game is ready to go. We where scheduled to start this monday, but this has been postponed because we lost two players (one of them didn't bother to read the OP and got the wrong idea about what the game would be about )


                      We need a few more players, please check out our thread as soon as possible if you are interested.
