Pitboss Diplomacy Game

Well knowing his civ he may be inclined to better himself off - just human nature.

I will assign starting locations numbers. Civs will get a number randomly. Hence, very hard for me to "set myself up".

The numbers will be divided into pools based in terrain type. In this way, we will not have vikings staring in the desert, and egyptions starting in the tundra.

All suggestions about inland seas and whatnot are noted. Trust me, you guys are in for a treat.

He did deserve it though.


PS: Very surprised Beta hasn't responded. He is usually very active and on top of things.

@Pinch: Please don't make things too crazy with tundra and ice starts! In general people aren't willing to play many many months on a tundra/icey territory! Only many food resources (deer, fish) may compensate that!

I don't know, sometimes tundra starts can be very fun, he should actually be carefull not to overpower them!


Also he should miror Ozzy in the way he placed strategic, health and luxur resources.

One of the many things he did was to have iron and copper reasonably available preventing civs from being unable to defend themselves.

I added nbsp's to that, should work. Anyway, he didn't write it out for [ code ] so of course it won't work (you have to write it with a fixwidth font like Courier New).

Hopefully all civs get a good starting location. no need for anyone to start in tundra jsut becuase historically they did. If we wanted truly historic game then the better palyers should hve been given the Tundra starts surrounded by lots of ice.

Deity would still micromanage his way to a huge lead.
