HOTW XII Diplogame Organization Thread. Part 2

Sad to hear you're leaving. Your contribution to this game has been phenomenal. But I understand you all too well, I've dropped out of all of my other diplogames myself (but I am firmly adamant to finish this one) due to RL issues. The diplogame can be very time and energy consuming, especially if you get carried away, which you often can.

I wish you all the best and hope to see you around here again sometime when matters are resolved. And heck, Slovenia is not that far from Norway, maybe we can meet up in RL and have a beer sometime. I'll keep my eye out for you on MSN.

Ok, I will be here. But when? Who can play and at what hour? I will be willing to start early if that is beneficial.

Could we get a sub for Ottoman as well? Vampgelus did a great job as France. Perhaps he could be recruited again?

Seriously guys I just logged in and thought we were postponing again from Inca's post last night. I changed plans and am logging into work to get database project finialised for staff use tomorrow.

I need to know right now if we are playing and I can't do extra hours this week. This makes it very tight for me now. Sorry.

I am going to take a nap now, and wake up in 2 hours. that is 1 hour before normal playtime. if noone here, I'll try again at normal playtime.

I can do 5/6 hour session next weeek when pressure is off and gives us time to sort out subs/replacements.

I just read that France is leaving - I'm real sad about that and feel a bit guilty. Can't you change your mind? I think next week was sort of OK for you?

You have added so much to the diplo genre and although uncomfortable for 'honourable' players (like me and Otts and even Inca) who have trouble adjusting to real in character malicousness and duplicity... I've now learnt a few things from you and you have taken the genre to a whole new level.

I think several players will tell you that I have trouble getting out of the 'good guy saving the world' mould and you and Mongolia have shown how fun it is. Inca have tried too and America are always good at playing multiple roles. Mali need a chance to strecth their wings and same with Russia.

Don't worry I've never had any illusions about you being the good guy trying to save the world.

I don't think France was ever dishonorable, but I do agree they have brought a great deal to this game and it is a shame to see them go. Then again I'm considering doing the same myself. So it is an even bigger shame to see he stole agent.

Guess I'll have to stick around at least a little while then...

But no session tonight then? Fine by me. See y'all next week, but not too late.

Hey everyone, sorry I've been incommunicado, R/L and all that .

Anyway, put me down for switching to Pitboss, with the following proviso's. 1. Can someone show me how to use Pitboss? 2. We will need to make sure we do a *lot* of diplomatic communications via this and the Ragnarök thread-all in character of course. If we do switch to pitboss, it will make gaps in the gameplay a thing of the past, but we will lose the cut and thrust of in-game communication. So I guess that, though I support the switch, I'm not 100% for it.
Still, put me down as a yes.

Oh, another thing. As far as regular sessions, you can consider me available until about mid-July. Of course things have a way of cropping up at the last minute, but I will give plenty of advance notice should that occur.

Sorry for not posting - but seeing that most of the talk was for no session i just went to bed and didn't bother to wait to see what really would happen.
