Is it possible to switch this game over to pitboss just to keep it going for a few weeks?

And we can do it turn-based (honour system) to avoid unit move problems?

I would really really appreciate the post-pone today guys. It's almost cetain I'll get interupted and/or have to leave if w start.

I will owe you all one and happy to wait for key players to be available to continue the better version of this game.

Also, is it possible to play in the slot 24 hours earlier next week if France/America can't make it? Might still be a problem for Otts but I spoke to him and his work is really effecting his availability so OK to play without Otts if all others here. Agent might still sub for him.

I just got back in my hotel. Guess having no session now will make my life easier with the wife and i will get to enjoy the rest of my vacation more. Still just for the record i was here and rdy to play.

Wait Inca you where available to play? And Holland could have made it too. Dosen't that mean we had just one guy missing, talk about miscommunication.


In any case I understand why Holland really wanted to postpone and am ok with it.


Now as to the 24 hour early suggestion, It dosen't help me in fact it is a bit worse. Also I will probably not be able to make it for several weeks starting today. Pitboss might help it might not, too early to tell.

I wish you had said that we could play earlier. I was ready to go at first hint of a session, but none seemed to be happening, so I stayed where I was.

But don't worry Oz, if we postpone once cause it is convenient for some, I say we postpone another week until everyone, EVERYONE, can be there. surely France must be able to take 3 hours so early on sunday morning, 2 weeks from now. squeazing in one last session with time to schedule ahead might be done.

We can also consider moving the time slot. We need the game to get up and running again, but we need to do so with people present.

I will try to make it this week, now assuming we find a sub for America will anyone else be missing? If no, lets play! If yes, then who will be missing in 14 days?

Please people I would really like to fit in at least one more session before I leave my civ.

BTW I repeat Hollands question would it be possible to turn this (temporarily) into a pitboss game?

I have no idea about the pitboss thing. really not my department. I wouldn't mind too much, but I kinda prefer our current style. otoh, if only for a temporary solution that will allow all players to participate, I'm all for it!

It would be a temporary solution untill most of the core players could again make it on the normal game time.

It would be a fallback option, if we loose a session we can still make 7 turns that week (with a 24 timer) and with turns getting longer that could be as much as a third of a session.

In fact come to think of it we could have a 12h timer on the weekends and a 24 during the week.
