At this point of time, the Ottomans do not have a sub for next week, in fact will need a sub for next 2 weeks, I have sent an email to Agent, but received no reply as yet, although it was sent last Sunday.
Actually, your post got me thinking. After a few months of this anonymous experiment, how many civs are still a mystery to people? Everyone please list off the civs whose identity you know and who you haven't yet guessed. Obviously don't reveal anyone's identity.
For my part:
Holland - Known (figured out quickly)
Mongolia - Known (figured out quickly)
Inca - Known (figured out quickly)
France - Known (took a while to figure out)
Carpathia - Known (took a while to figure out)
Russia - Known now (obviously) but don't know the original player
Mali - No idea
Ottomans - No idea

I know the Inca, Holland, America and Russia-but the last 2 only because they now have permanent subs. Everyone else is a mystery, though I have my suspicions for 1 or 2. I actually think that this Anonymous thing has been brilliant. No better proof exists than the fact of how alliances have shifted so wildly through the game-no permanent power blocs!
I could take a good guess at Inca, Holland, and Mongolia. (almost certain I could name the three players, but perhaps not the exact civ they have, if that makes sense).
Carpathia, Otts, France, and Mali remain a mystery to me.
Then again, I really haven't ever tried to deduct who was who.

I think the tech trade cap probably has more to do with this then anon. I do however enjoy the anon concept as it tricks me into thinking I am dealing with an actual nation/leader rather then a player.

The thing with anonymity is that even if you think you know who the other player is you can't really admit to it but I guess most of us have made a few expedient errors here...
All the same anon improves enjoyment immensely.

I have never voted. Is there a place to do so or who to contact? I also have no access to Russia diplo emails. Was never given the keys for it when original Russia left. (note this is second time I have asked) If its not needed, then don't bother with the diplo email. Just contact me as i am.
As a sub, I had to learn who France was.
I think that subbing and finding subs revealed a few people for me. What keeps things fresh and not personal is the subs, who have confused me quite a bit... also using the leader nicks have kept me pretending a lot better.
