Herc, if you're talking about combat, your settings for MP should be:
Quick Combat(Offense)
Quick Combat(Defense)
and probably
Stack Attack (though that's entirely your choice)

Oh, if you meant for speed (lag) issues do what Dominae said also. Mine are for everyone to use.
