I'll admit, i was dumb in this regard. All the past routers I have had were configuration nightmares, so when this modem/router I currently have NEVER gave me connection problems (until i met CS ) I just assumed it was only a modum with no firewall.

Long story short, I stripped all security from it, and now only use my software firewall, which will be off tonight.

Very nice session, a slow start but 31 turns made totally up for it.

Because i'm always so nice to eveyrone, i need to be the 1st to congratulate CS for his stable hosting.

Now we just need to get Pinchak back in it.

So, I am still hoping somebody will be willing to sub for me (Mali) for the next 3 sessions or at least part of them. Ill be nice and grateful, no complaining about how things turned out here. Id be genuinely thankful somebody helped out and saved everybody playing in this game from another AI. So if you (potential sub) are interested, post and Ill contact you to give you a run down of the situation.

I notice that Makeo is back, maybe he would be willing to sit in. It could be good practice. I wonder if deity would put in a good word? Makeo was a pretty solid Civ2 guy if memory serves, so that would be great if he could
