true. but the threshold for sneak attack resembling manouvers should be higher in diplogames. frankly I suspected the AI would declare war one me with their hostility and military buildup. that you might be inclined to do so as well since you had an army to start with was suspected, almost expected. the religious difference card was played, but as you mentioned it was to be understood between the lines. luckily I'm bright enough (or paranoid enough) to suspect that what may be threats between the lines is in fact a clear warning of impending invasion

not sure if paranoia is a good quality or not, but it sure is useful in civ

I thought the little Religious war between the Mali/James and the Arabs/Russians was nice and quite close to the RP of the game. Especially the Russian kings that has had a strained relationship with the west for millenia (an inevitable war was mentioned in a Rusiian letter even)

Right now England is busy Kow-Tow'ing to the United States of Germany since James can't even send a spearman to the New World! No Tech Trade can lead to some cool tactical situations.

Englands Queen is still alive and kicking on St. Helens, probably beeing instructed by the Hard Line Jewish priests and missionaries that came from Arabia to Nottingham

Okay guys, I apoligize for not being able to make the past game, and often being in a rush. But I'm finding that I'm just not free on Saturdays any more. We would either need to start playing an hour or two earlier, or maybe move to Sunday a bit earlier for me to be able to play.

So, if we can't make the change, I'm fine with that. Somebody can take over my spot in the game, and the four of you can finish it. I'm sorry for the problems. =/
