Sounds great, I'm in.

Monday I am free from about 5 - 9 pm (-8 GMT).
Tuesday I am free all day from say 9 am to 6 pm.
Wednesday I don't have much time at all.
Thursday I got 9am to 6pm.
Friday I have all day from 9am to 9pm free.
Saturday I have from about noon to 9pm free.
Sunday I cannot play at all.

These are all conservative times, meaning that I will usually be free earlier/later then the given times. This doesn't account for the time it takes to actually play the session, so if we play a three hour session on Monday we would have to start from 5-6:30 so we could be done by 9:30 or so. Basically I can play at any of the times given with about a half hour or so of lenience. And I would perfer not to play on Saturday and if we play Friday to play early friday, to be done before 5 pm.

On session a week would be fine with me, this is my first diplo game, and I love the concept of writing storys to go along with game play, I wouldn't mind playing twice a week if it worked out with everyone though.

Personally I don't like tech trading, I enjoy playing civ, and I play with more of a builder mentality, a big part is having a tech advantage above the rest, but I understand that tech trading is important to a diplo game, and it can't be left out either. It shouldn't be to big of a deal, as long as we aren't playing with AI.

I think that we should definatly play on a random map, it seems much more interesting, because you don't know who you will be up against what resources you will have and where things are.

Yeah I agree that TT is an important part of a diplo game.

Thursday works great for me, Saturday is doable.

Yes, tech trading is important, but I'd much rather have no tech trading to preserve some importance on building your civ. The simpliest options are just to leave it un checked, and get what we did in the first diplo attempt, a crazy check every turn, and trade with anyone you can to keep 1 tech ahead for 1 turn, then rush to trade everyone else that same tech before they can, or we can just ban it out right with the check box for no tech trade.

Either that or we have to enter into some kind of gentleman's agreement, which gets complicated. I guess I'm just in favor of no tt because I've already seen it once, but maybe in 7 or 8 you'll agree with me.

I vote for one session per week about 3-4 hours.

I worry about the tech trade, but if most people have had no bad experience with it, I'm ok with it this game. I can't see that it's trouble free...

I haven't yet played a diplo game, it has been my experiance that in a normal game tech trading ruins it, but I think that a diplo game would be different, and I think that all options should remain open for trading. I think that barbs would be a good option to leave on. And I strongly prefer a random map.

I love this, the diplogaming community is getting bigger.

I'd rather focus all my energies on one game, but if you need me and I can play on the day of the game I may consider playing in both.

Also Ozzy was thinking of having a diplogame workshop at ApolyCon, I think we should discuss a good way to go about doing that too.
