Confirmed 8pm start for Saturday we will play till Midnight Australian Eastern Standard time. So if yous are in other states dont forget about daylight saving.

Once we get the group together, we will see what nights suit everyone best, and maybe organise 1 night during the week and one on the weekend. But lets see hoe we go. I would like as many people as possible.

I'll sign on for this, finished my first game of SP on Noble yesterday won a space race victory with 6 turns remanining I love the game.

Though my conn is still playing up but hopefully it will be ok by the weekend

Some facts yous might want to know about MP in CIV IV.

As we will have so many players, we will be playing on a huge map, in an epic game.

Due to the size of the map it is recommended that you have 1 gig of memory to avoid delays and lag which will make the game unplayable.

I recomend to all that have less then this and slower CPU's, turn down the graphics settings, and turn off all other programs and internet programs prior to playing in our game.

I also hope that all have some form of broadand, ADSL, DSL, Cable and so on. Dialup player will not be allowed to play, due to lag.

I know that on my system which is pretty new. A P4 3.4, with 2 gig ram, and a radeon X8500 graphics cards i get no probs at all, even late game on huge maps. It is the ram and connection speed that are most important.

Looks like a big group of players, cant wait.

Yeah Mike, I agree basically, but my comp is an Athlon 2400 with 768 ram and 128 graphics and it's fine with a 1.5 meg ADSL connection.

I have been offline for most of the week in the hope of getting my computer upgraded, however I was advised that this was not sensible with my computer, so now I have a new computer and am in the process of reloading all my games, with the civ games first in priority, so I will be ready to play very soon, ie within an hour
