Emperor Difficulty
Short DAR, got Gunpowder to get me into Renaissance then went straight for Chemistry then Steel to put me in the Industrial Age. Next DAR should be huge though.
DAR Record, links work:
1300 A.D. Gunpowder is finished bring us to the Renaissance Era. Yay, we start on Chemistry (8 turns) Has anyone gotten Liberalism. Man this game is weird, everything seems really slow and easy, dunno what it is.
1380 A.D. Assault Army is at 7 Knights, 1 Maceman and 5 Catapults. Once New York is done with the Heroic Epic, Grenadiers will pour out of it, making mostly Grenadiers at other cities too. Chemistry it done now (obviously) and starting on Steel (13 turns)
1530 A.D. Word crashed, lost some stuff. Basically I got Steel (and am now in the Industrial Age) and started on Printing Press. I declared war on Izzy today and now the war commences. I am going to raze Valencia and capture Salamanca all in one turn and then continue my wave of destruction until every Izzy city is mine. Oh yeah I went Theocracy somewhere during 1440ish.
