I'm the Roman, I can't build swordsmen. If I build Preatorians does that count?

Dunno, but I would think so.
Anyways, you can't go wrong with 10 Praetorians.I'm consitently stupid- Japher
I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

I didn't make it. Since I was going for all those Praetorians I figured I better get Theology first so they would be strong, but of course getting Theology nullifys the freakin deal, doh!

I always seem to get the "build 10 chariots" event. I never even try, since I'm usually trying to slingshot Metalcasting via Oracle.I'm consitently stupid- Japher

I seem to always get the stable-building event. Usually very late. I don't think I've ever completed it. Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't build more than one or two stables, much less 7.
I do like the harbormaster event -- I like coastal cities and they're all gonna end up with harbors as the second or third build anyway. The payoff is pretty good too, compared to the other events that I've finished. The undeserving maintain power by promoting hysteria.

1) All horse units get the sentry promotion
2) (Might have confused this one because it wasn't that good) All stables provide +1 food
3) 7 free Horse Archers (with no stinking promotions)
OH JOY!Keep on Civin'

I like number 2 there but that's becaise I like more food period, and every bit of food I get is useful.Noctre, Dak'Tar, the master of the endless shadow that envelops you... That is what they call me. Fear, little mortals, and feed me, for you, my little ones... are mine.
