You only think you've never eaten a horse. Think about it! Just after you order one they ask, "you want fries with that?"

      Corrected.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

I only made the corporation one, because I was spreading the corporation anyway. It gives a small cash bonus - less than 50 gpt on a large map (with cash improvements), late game. Lame.

Good scouting for all of my cavalry? This actually sounds useful for capturing workers.
          Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

If you're sling-shotting via the Oracle, you should be going for Confusionism's tech.

Feudalism is a useful slingshot tech too, all context dependant.

Code? Yeah, it is one of many good choices.

Really, it depends on game situation as to what makes most sense with the slingshot.

Metal Casting is certainly a viable choice, expecially if you have gold, silver or gems.

I'm in the DaveV camp wrt hammers > commerce. I prefer forges.

Plus it almost guarantees I'll get the Colossus. But the next time I get to play, I'm gonna try to slingshot Feudalism w/ the Native Americans and go for an early Longbowmen rush.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

Commies can't strike, I've heard that. Is it true?

In a communist state, the worker rules, so there is simply no reason to strike.

In a non-communist state, commies like to make the worker strike, until they rule.

I have never gotten this message.
If you chase two rabbits, they shall gang up and chase you back.

It's really simple. In a commie state the people own everything so when the management treats you like a dog and whips you until you meet your outrageous quota you can't strike because it's your biz. If you do strike anyway then you're obviously insane so they send in the whack job Mongol troops brought in special from the far east because they won't mind killing you.
