Maybe he just wants to help everyone get all the lamentation out of their system before BtS is released?

That info was taken from the Firaxian site:

Leaders such as Hammurabi of the Babylonians, Abraham Lincoln of the United States, and Sitting Bull of the Native Americans

      So that's the Native Americans.

Think we can keep the debate about which civilizations do and don't deserve to be in to other threads and let the fact sheet remain the fact sheet?

Well, ideally the first post will be the perpetually updated Fact Sheet and the rest of the posts will be comments about said fact sheet, no?

Yeah, I'm fine with the discussion that's going on, as long as it's BtS-related. I'll keep the first post updated as new info as released, so feel free to discuss here.

Not all "peoples" have or will become Civs. Not all Civs have remained Civs.

I think we should be able to play a game, where you basically build a Civ from the ground up, that allows one extrapolate what may have happened if "peoples" A or B had developed/flourished.

Do not limit the game play to just what we know. Also, do not make it pure fantasy. Just make it somewhat plausible.

In any Apolyton Civilization forum, history debates/discussions just go with the territory.

If people didn't care about the merits of this or that civilization, they'd be in the CtP forums.

Oh well, I guess my mind just boggles at how many times you guys can have the exact same argument thread after thread.

They take time outs of several days or weeks for intermission.
Then they get recharged and get back into the fray.

But yes, several arguments regarding the game's design are rehashed on a periodic basis.

And it's not always the same people. Though I admit I've gotten sucked in on more than one occasion. I do try to avoid having the same historical argument twice, at least.

                                How about this one?

Since there's a WW2 scenario, do you think it's Hitler leading Germany?
