In the game credits . So, strictly speaking, it's known who the testers for Civ4 and Warlords were, the ones who became testers after Warlords was released aren't known (and shouldn't be ).
And what about the people who came in during Warlords but came in too late to be credited

Okay, I know you guys can't really reveal anything, but could you clarify something?
# New Wonders: Five new wonders await discovery including the Statue of Zeus, Cristo Redentor, Shwedagon Paya, the Mausoleum of Maussollos, and the Moai Statues.
# Apostolic Palace: The United Nations will become available earlier in the game providing a way for players to win a diplomatic victory earlier. New resolutions will also be added which will expand the available diplomatic options.
If the Apostolic Palace isn't a New Wonder, what is it? Is the UN simply gone, and the AP has taken its place? Or does the AP become obsolete, requiring the UN to be built?
Looking forward to the new UN/AP options.

I think that at this point we don't know if, and if so, which warlords items are going to be in the game.
If we look back at the civ2 / civ3 expansions then I think that we can be sure that not all warlords features will be in. I think that it's obvious though that 2 players who have BtS must be able to play against each other, and thus must have the same features in the game.
But that's just me trying to think reasonable

I think that it would be incredably difficult to balance an expansion pack so that it was balanced both with and without warlords units. And pointless, tbh. I reckon that all of the warlords assets required to run the core game will be included, in addition to an exe, because unless they mess about with it wouldn;t most people jsut get a cracked exe off the web to play Warlords after they got BTS?
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.
My first impression is that this looks pretty good. There's the usual new civs, units, improvements. That's a given. Then there's a handful of scenarios. Some game expansions would just stop there.
But it looks like they've made an effort to expand some of the game concepts that could use expansion - the UN and the Space Race. Then they added a new game concept, the corporations.
Most important is that they're still tweaking the little things to make the game more playable and stuff. Improving the AI is really important.
On the limited information we have so far, I'm thinking this is a good expansion.

I wish there was a Civil War option... like, your nation can split, based on a number of possible triggers:
- War
- Change of Religion
- Change of Civics
- Unhappiness
Didn't Civ2 have this option? I can't remember...
i only ever saw it in civ1, i dont know if it was in civ2. in civ1, if you took or destroyed the capitol of a large empire that was experiencing some distress, it could cause a schism and split the nation into 2.
# Events: New random events - such as natural disasters, pleas for help, or demands from their citizens - challenge players with obstacles that must be overcome for their civilizations to prosper.
Natural disasters would be cool, but I'm not sure I like the idea of getting missions or objectives from my citizens- that would interfere with my program of world domination.
I guess the thing that concerns me most is how this expansion fits together with Warlords- I would hate to lose the civs and leaders, the great general concept and marathon play.
