Well, I still have high hopes for XP2 adding some more balance.

That's just it: with the best will in the world x-packs do not add balance, they disrupt it. In favourable cases they lay the foundation for an overall improvement, but this is potential to be realised and takes constant hard work, hard work that may or may not happen.

Well I still think Civ4 is in need of some useful additions. The game is fun as is, but sometimes feels like its lacking in some areas.

If you think that XPs always disrupt balance, then balance to you is a relative & subjective thing. You will never be satisfied.

Yes, I KNOW balance is totally subjective & depends on your reference points.

That doesn't make sense at all.

                We have had Civ4.
                We have had Warlords.
So how about Sealords - for the next expansion.

I would really like them to work on improving the naval aspect of the game.

Improve the way the AI handles naval matters (blockades, invasions, coastal bomdardment, Trade interdiction etc.) also more units, more promotions etc.

There could also be some great naval scenario's to go with such an expansion.

Maybe Solver will hide the letters of the title in his posts at random.

Yeah. If you take all my 12 thousand posts, put them together and apply the methodology that's used in Bible Code studies, you'll get the expansion's name and my credit card number .

Meh. Here's hoping they can pull of an expansion which is named with consonants-only.
