Phalanx are decent enough... They're stronger than regular spearmen and have a hill bonus. And musketeers are scaringly fast. All useful. The bonus artist for france is great.
Odeon... extra happiness! wonderful. +great culture boost. AND the possibility to put in more artists. All ok IMO.
compare with. 20% Hill defence bonus for Archers, Swords, Crossbows, Longbows and Muskets, I would go for the culture bonuses and happy bonuses any day.Diplogamer formerly known as LzPrstComment

The list of gunpowder units is way longer than people seem to be implying in this thread. If there were a Celtic leader with Tokugawa's traits, his late-game gunpowder units would be phenomenal.Participating in my threads is mandatory.
