New Vassal State Information

Na Solver has pretty much indirectly said that it doesn't do that. Also, if it DID do that, it would be in the first post. Personally, I think what is in the first post is all that it is. By what I gather - reading between the lines - is that the AI diplomacy is still the same (*sigh*) and it is still 'tight'. I get the feeling that even though they become your Vassal, I don't think that means that they will give you everything you ask (or anything at that). I think it is a deal that costs the master more than the vassal and gives no tribute at all.

Which would not be a true Vassal at all

Perhaps Dale or another Modder can help resolve this

From what I gather, it doesn't give you everything but it does give you some benes. And you should be responsible for your vassals or they will either outgrow you or undergrow you and revolt.

Also, I was just thinking, isn't Gold and Spices resources? That's a direct contribution to your economy if you so demand.

I think we're looking at Vassal state as a way for us to dominate the AI, but it's not. It's a balanced game mechanic that can be used by us and the AI.

(Always assuming the AI "falls for it")
