By being really old farts.
When we were upgrading out forums some five years ago, then all users who had registered prior to a certain date got their registration dates reset to 1970. That "certain date" is, IIRC, somewhere in March 1999. Hence, everyone with a displayed registration date of 1970 has really been here for many years.Solver, WePlayCiv Co-Administrator

Because I try to make my posts contribute in some way? I have no desire to get a pcr, so just asking to avoid that. I try to follow the rules you know.
And as I said, pc is not important in itself, but I think every post should be counted, since why should we bother to have a pc at all if not? I can assure you, that if I wanted to become deity asap, I would post much more often and everywhere, but that's not why I am here. Apolyton is my internet home.
It has brought me much enjoyment over the years. To think I was merely 14 1/2 at the time I registered...

For me, really, you're not a spammer because most of your posts are contributing something to the subject at hand, or have some meaninfgul thought. Spammers, in the meanwhile, make posts with little or no content, by the dozens. But since everyone sometimes makes posts that are not very useful, I guess it just comes to the useful / useless post ration in the end. And the general posting habits of the user.
