Looking at the vote, I think a lot of people agree that it's not totally worthless.

Now granted the reason I picked her is because of financial, cossacks, and a starting scout, but creative does have it's uses.

It obviously depends a lot on the context, but for a general pick I chose Caesar.

Another bonus of Creative is that you can place cities where you want them. Without Creative, I'll often want to put a city adjacent to a resource tile so that I can gather the resource immediately. With Creative, I can also found the city away from the resource, is that seems a better spot - the culture will expand to include the resource very soon.

The reason I voted for Ceaser is pretty well discribed in the Brandygames guide. "Even if you don't conquer the entire world with Praetornians, their effects will surely give you a large enoughl ead to one day hear the entire world saying "Hail, Ceaser!"."

Either Asoka or Saladin for me. I too am a big fan of the spiritual trait. The organised trait helps me expand quickly, but that philosophical trait is very useful for getting those great leaders!

I am well aware of the thread's title, thank you.

And why would other people vote for Catherine because I think she's hot? (And I don't, by the way. Isabella, hands down, despite her personality. Considering she seems to be an insane dominatrix, her outfit is singularly inappropriate.)

Anyways... Consider it my personal favour to you that unlike others who voted anonymously, I was candid about the reason for my vote. And you may discount it, if that turns your crank.

I didn't vote for Catherine because I thought she was hot, I voted for her because I thought she and peter made a good combination, and I like Russia, anyhow.

Vicky is just sicky. She's one of those leaders who you'd be playing Civ IV for months and then highlight the english empire and say, "OH MY GOD! Victoria is a LEADER?!" But when you look at her traits you are dissappointed.
