Very interesting, thanks!
I sure hope that its referring to a CivIV expansion pack and not CivV..."You are one of the cheerleaders for this wasting of time and the wasting of lives. Do you feel any remorse for having contributed to this "culture of death?" Of course not. Hey, let's all play MORE games, and ignore all the really productive things to do with our lives.
Let's pretend to be shocked that a gamer might descend into deeper depression, as his gamer "buds," knowing he was killing himself, couldn't figure out how to call 911 themselves for him. That would have involved leaving their computers I guess."

Excellent. It's great we're able to participate and I can't wait for the first expansion of Civ 4!One of these days I'll make 501 posts, and you won't have to look at my silly little diplomat anymore.
"Oh my God, what a fabulous room. Are all these your guitars?"

Hmmm. How useful do you honestly think that is, given that you didn't give any indication about just what you thought was wrong, and how you thought they should fix it?

I've said that new civs/units/buildings/scenarios/etc. aren't needed. The communicty can deliver that, no need for Firaxis to work on that.
I suggested to expand religion this way:
Expanded religion in which you can influence the spread of your religion hrough buildings/wonders, cities have a % of a religion, religions can be reduced in cities with certain actions. The Shrine income depends on the % your religion has in the entire world. Not the number of cities.Formerly known as "CyberShy"

Interesting. So, you answered "Fix the current game first" for questions like "Which one specific unit would you like to see added to the current Civilization IV units?".
Hmmm. How useful do you honestly think that is, given that you didn't give any indication about just what you thought was wrong, and how you thought they should fix it?
Believe me when I say, I have in many communications to 2K expressed all my concerns about their programming ability and quality control, as well as various bugs caused by the 1.09 patch. The standard reply given has been, Dear Sir or Madam, please update to the latest video card drivers and all you issues will be resolved.

Yes, I agree with the sentiment to "fix the game first".
If there are still serious issues remaining in Civ4 when an expansion is released I very seriously doubt I would plunk down $30-$40 in the hope that those bugs would finally be resolved.
To ensure my future business Firaxis must forst demonstrate that my past business was not a waste of money.
