    Well said. Yes, that wouldn't be as fun, though I'm sure it's difficult to make an AI who doesn't become predictable in some way. For now, the way we even the odds is by playing harder difficulty levels, where the AI gets more bonuses, instead of getting smarter. There will be a time when the AI will no longer need bonuses.

        I meant Civ VI. In some ways, I probably was living under a rock waiting for Civ IV to come out.
