Culture bonuses for multiple Cathedrals

Here I thought I might get some new information from this thread and instead I read a few hundred lines of pointless drivel.

Studying 'human condition' is one thing. Understanding it 'correctly' is another. If you did, you would have known how to propagate your 'correctness' onto others - looks like you ran into some resistance.

Of course I don't know your system speqs, but perhaps you're trying to load too big saves? With mine, I never attempt anything larger then a small map.

I enjoy playng om huge maps. And my specs are P 2.4 with 1 GB RAM and GF 6600... it must be more then enough. But nevertheless everything is soooooo sloooooooow! Actually I watch TV when waiting the other civs turns (especially when having the Holy City)...

The lack of respect people show strangers for whatever puny reason can sometimes be disgusting. The morons picking at Destroyer here should learn some respect, or at least learn some basic psychology and be a little more flexible when it comes to different personality types and different reactions.

Have you tried Harkonnens' memory fix? It seems to do some good for people who exceed recommended specs.

I could have built a cathedral, but being that you are limited to one per 4 temples

I belive its one Cathedral per 3 temples or in programing terms.

Max Cathedrals = Temples % 3

I play on really huge maps (I modded the config file). It never takes more than 45 seconds to load up though.

I have noticed that load times are quite a lot longer than those for Civ3, while the pause between turns is a lot shorter. But thats a good trade off.

It depends on map size I think. I've seen 2 temples per cathedral but also 5. I don't know what the exact range is.

30 seconds effort and you could have answered your own question, instead of being lazy and posting a question you could have easily answered on your own. By the way, the 30 seconds of your own effort would have given you an answer more quickly than posting and waiting for someone else to answer it for you.

I never belittled anyone, I suggested maybe you should put a bare minimum of effort into figuring out the obvious questions before you ask someone else. You are the one making personal attacks... as if someone's proficiency in a video game has anything to do with their worth? Plus, I knew the answer and you didn't, which makes any game knowledge insults that much less effective. In any case, that's the wrong path to take to try to insult me, since I work in the video game industry and am credited on more than a dozen games, including Warcraft III, World of Warcraft, and Neverwinter Nights.

I respect your attitudes about respecting everyone, but I disagree with them. I prefer to be Egocentric, Prideful, Inconsiderate and a Jerk. Can you respect that?

In C++, the % is a modulo operator, "The remainder when you divide by x". I would use the command
Player[j].Building.Cathedral[i].(max) = Count(Player[j].Building.Temple[i]) / 3;
