In addition, in the tutorial mod the player can attack wild animals, but not in the game?
Is this a bug or a feature of the tutorial?
I've been able to attack wild animals in the actual game.

      Update! Game now runs fine!!

      Attention!
I have, since my last post, tried the new fix for ATI graphics on the official Civ 4 tech support site that is now up, and followed it precisely.
It worked like a charm. I would recommend anyone with the ATI problems to check it out on the official Civ 4 site!

I have an ATI Radeon 7500, and it SHOULD run, but doesn't.

Yeah... keep yelling about it. Maybe sooner or later Firaxis will patch it.

XFX 6800GT AGP with 66.93 drivers, running at 1680x1050. The problems I am having (occassional CTD after the 1900's) are probably not related to the vid card.

I am also only running on half a gig of memory at the moment as my mobo needs to be replaced. The new one comes monday.

Oh, all visual goodies on high.

Dual MSI 7800 GTX+/256 in SLI (turned off)
                                4 GB Ram
                                AMD 64 x2 4800

                                Crashes about every 30 minutes.
