What's wrong with getting extra food from horses? Having horses available assists greatly in farming. Greater mobility, greater horsepower for plowing, etc.

A better bonus for the French: Every time another civ moves at least 3 tanks into their territory, they're forced to surrender, but then half of all the other civs in the game declare war on the aggressor and come to France's rescue...

That is a bit of a stretch. The help was limited and certianly benefited the French as much as the US vs. US/GB saving France and getting crapped on by France every chance they get.

If France had not successfully blockaded Cornwallis at Yorktown, he could have been resupplied or evacuated -- not forced to surrender. If France had not virtually BANKRUPTED itself to support America, King Louie might never have faced the French revolution.Comment
