Hammers are Stupid, Throw Shields at Them

I've already mentioned that, too, prefer shields. But did anyone else notice that Soren, in his interviews, also referred to production resources as shields for awhile, until he corrected himself? What more can I say?

I would like to see the day that shields and hammers can work together sharing the icon peacefully rather than this crazy feud putting hammer against shield and... shield against hammer.

I've noticed that I now call hammers hammers. I'm fully converted!

I even call "minerals" in SMAC hammers now.

Ok, let's say United States intervenes on its own though, instead of the United Nations.


What would be the plan for withdrawal once United States intervenes between the hammer forces and the shield forces?
