I´ll probably play 1-2 hours/day. If I manage that. I´m so exhausted from work and working on my boat project nowadays... I´m getting old

It depends how good the game is.

But I suspect I will probably be playing... mmm let me see...

well 5 hours a day minimum sounds right... 1-2 hours in the early part of the day... then perhaps 3-4 hours in the afternoon...

but then I have the potential to play later into the evening and at night...

I'll vote 5-6 hours per day for now.
To us, it is the BEAST.

I voted 1-2 hours a day as I will try to keep it that low...

          Good luck, Freddz..

I'm at work at 0730 to 1500 (3 pm). I only work 7.5 hpd. I live about a mile from work, but because the way the roads are, it's 2 miles of city streets, so it can take 4 to 6/7 min to get home. And it helps that they are Neighborhood streets.

I am stunned that 17 people so far are talking about 7+ hours a day on Civ 4! WOW!

My girl friend is going to drive me to Best Buy on Wednesday morning to pick it up. Upon reaching home I expect I'll play all day and well into the night only breaking for food and the bathroom. I'll repeat that for several days and then probably settle into a more sane several hours a day rhythm.

Well, I have like 5 exams next week, so it will be two weeks before I have a "lost weekend" However I've gotten 5 Civnewbs to join me for a hotseat game so there could be massive fun involved.
First Master, Banan-Abbot of the Nana-stary, and Arch-Nan of the Order of the Sacred Banana.
Marathon, the reason my friends and I have been playing the same hotseat game since 2006...

I voted 5-6 a week or so ago, but judging by yesterday, that might be low.

My wife can enjoy having the whole bed to herself most of the night.

I'm hoping to get a big juicy redundancy cheque before christmas. Then I can devote plenty of time to Civ while I retrain to switch careers. If that doesn't work, I'll just have to burn some leave t give Civ the attention it deserves
