How Many Hours / Day Do You Plan to Play Civ 4?

I tell myself I don't have 2 or 3 hours in a day to play this kind of stuff any more, but I'm almost sure I will. And in the first few weeks of getting used to the game, those hours could double.

I just hope the kids won't bring this up in therapy years from now:

"Well, doctor, a strange voice. Sounds like an aging Vulcan explaining the history of Democracy...that or the discovery of cooked salmon, I can't tell which. I also have bad dreams that my dad ate a computer game box and then conquered the living room."

I figure 3-4 hours per day AVERAGE. One or two days taking a break; 2 or 3 being obsessive @ 5-7 hours.

I easily have been over 8 huors a day on MMOs

5-6 hours, unless i don't like the game, then it will be less.

1-2 hours a day until I divorce my wife over CIV.

Then it will be 7 hours plus

During weekdays I will play less then 1 to 1.5 hours. (I try to discipline myself to that ritme since I need to be fit to work and that is still more important then a game)

In a weekend it is possible that there will be 5 hour session but not on a regular basis for most of the time it will be 2 hours or less (I discovered that if I play those longer sessions my brain keeps running at 200% which does not seem too healthy )

Well, for me, it depends how good the game is.

For the first day or two I'll probably play it over 7 hours (I'll be on vacation). But then after the first weekend I'll probably average 3-4 a night for a week or so, then likely level off at 1-2 hours mostly multiplayer I hope after that

I'll probablly only get like 3 hours (or less) in due to scheduling. Intense work loads currently.
