I don't even know if the game ships on CDs or DVDs, to be honest. I'm sure it would be 1 DVD not two though - even the biggest games out so far fit on one DVD very well.

cant be two DVDs, thats like 8-9gig. 1 DVD or 2-4 CDs perhaps? I remember when two disks (1.35meg a piece?) could hold any game.. =)
i remember buying a chess game that was on 20 diskettes. THAT was a pain.
I'm getting the impression that a religion is either present in a city or it's not, there's no relative percentage of the population of a city that's one or the other, correct? Judging from one of the screenshots I saw, you get the state religion bonus even if there are multiple religions in the city, right? So I don't really see any disadvantage of having multiple religions in a city as long as one is your state religion. Hmm, might try to found all the Holy Cities for the heck of it then.
BTW, about the line of sight thing, originally it was going to go to whoever founded the religion, now it appears from that you get the LOS from any city that has your state religion, am I reading that right?
What's the build cost of missionaries? Are they used up when you spread religion to a city?

Essentially, that is correct.

I think so.
Missionaries are cheap, and are used up when, well, used. Thus, it's some effort to spread religion, at least. You ca not have more than 3 missionaries at a time.

Hmm, I hope I'm wrong but it's beginning to sound like missionaries are gonna be the new caravans. Remember the micromanagement of building individual caravans and sending them to a forgeign city to make a trade? I'm getting a feeling this is how spreading religion is going to feel like... Pretty cool for the first couple that you use them then just plain tedious :/
Well there will be less cities, and in civ2, you would send out like up to three caravans per city you founded/occupied.. and besides, missionaries will not be the only way to spread your religion and other civs might spread your religion aswel once they adopt it. =)
