I like that you wont be able to send units into another players terretory without the declaration of war. Althought it would still be nice if you could move your ships throught other nations waters..

That is perfectly fine with me, they are entitled to believe what they want and I am willing and able to agree to disagree. Why can't you do the same?
You're usually one of the level headed ones around here, I'm surprised that you're being so touchy about this whole issue.

And drawing a map shouldn't be so time-consuming. You had to place all the tiles there manually. How about a "fill" option? You know, just draw the borders of a land mass and then have it fill in with a selected terrain?
Granted, I don't know if Civ4's map editor will be better in that regard, but I can hope.A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

Alright, Godunov. Let's talk reason.
No, it doesn't break the game, as far as it is known.
This is your opinion, which you are entitled to have.
Since lots of people have been playing it so far and this hasn't "broken" the game, I don't see how you can be in a position to assert this, since you haven't played it.
Since this feature existed with Alpha Centauri in a comparable game, I can very well evaluate it. Besides, it does not take too much imagination to see the consequences.
What it's done has scrapped one of your favorite strategies.
This is an assertion, and an unproven one at that.
Well, boohoo, a lot of the new features are doing that for me and everyone else. That's part of it being a new game, not just an upgrade. You'll adapt and learn to play differently.
So back off the pessimism and wait until you've played the game, at least, to whine and gnash teeth over a feature.
This is plain and simple an order to shut up. No less and no more. A command not to express my opinion. Hence I don't see how this...
Where did I say you can't have your opinion?
You're free to express it, and I'm free to disagree with it. That's what has been done.
... would be sincere.
I see you getting upset when I think you really don't need to be yet--especially since you haven't even played the game! So I'm just suggesting you relax and not let it upset you until you see how it plays out. You might end up totally loving the new way and then you'll feel darn silly for all the gnashing of teeth beforehand.
This is illogical at best. While browsing these boards I see thousands of posts "awesome", "great feature", "wonderful", "very nice" etc. etc. Neither of these people have played the game. How would it be, if I - or somebody else for that matter - would jump at these people in the style you jumped at me, and say:
"I see you getting excited when I think you really don't need to be yet--especially since you haven't even played the game! So I'm just suggesting you relax and not get too excited until you see how it plays out. You might end up totally hating the new way and then you'll feel darn silly for all the unjustified praising beforehand."
How would that be, Godunov? It would treat them the same way you treat me.
I just want you to feel better, Ralphie.
There is it again, this belittling and paternalism. You know what? I have an excellent link for you, Borka: Click here, and all this opposition against your hallowed opinion is gone. I will do it equivalently.
Oh, and since we won't likely talk to each other again, you stated a while ago, that Orffs Carmina Burana would be an assemblage of religious tunes. I didn't complain, since I didn't want to compromise you, but this is false. The Carmina Burana is thoroughly secular.

It's about drinking!!!Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
