Tiwas the starter of this thread is a member of our Civ4 ladder. And posted here to let you guys know about our ladder in the hope that you may be interested in joining us for some fun games and unpolitical (If there is such a word) gaming life.
We are in no way as our accusers suggest an imposter ladder, and hope that you all can see through their rather feeble attempts to portray us in this way. I do not wish to lower myself to their level by countering their false allegations and will not do so here.
We hope that you will judge us for yourselves and we at least credit you all with the intelligence to make your own choice of which ladders you would wish to join. Of course there is nothing to stop you joining as many ladders as you want to.

This is not true, i have not registered any ladder pages, and civ4players got nothing to do with myleague.com/civ4. This new ladder is meeting hard resistance from the admins from civ3players since they belive they got the "original" or "true" ladder page. They are banning anyone talking about it and want everyone to belive that they got some kind of copyright on civilization 4, because they love the "power" they got as admins. And this abuse of power do the people behind civ4 want to fight. This is a ladder page open for anyone, and will accept anyone just as long they are following myleage-rules. Cheating will be punished hard, non-reporting will not be tolerated. The admins of this new ladder will not have any delay in the work needed to be done, if this happens more admins will be recruited. One of the reason myleague.com/civ4 was started was because of people sending mails to civ3players about others cheating, and never got any respond even if they had proofs, and lately players have sendt them mails complaining about games not reported and they only answer with rude, unkind remarks. The rules for tournaments has also been considered to discriminate by some. And the signup for the ladder could take a week or two. All this will change on www.myleague.com/civ4. 24 hours signup max, polite admins that will do anything to try to help, flexible tournaments and strict rules on cheating and non-reporting.

What the flip is going on here? First, someone steals the /civ4players URL that was supposed to be the continuation of the Civ3Players ladder, and now this pops up.
Listen, you guys of the /civ4 ladder - I understand that you only want a separate ladder that has nothing to do with Civ3Players and Civ4Players, that right?

1) it would be better for everyone's better ability to read your posts if you used the quote tag
2) english isnt my native language either but i try to be precise in my posts, especially public announcements of a new site. your first sentence "This is the new ladder-page for civilization 4" could very easily be understood as you trying to pass as the one and only ladder for civ4.
3) i would really like to see some actual url's of cases where people where banned (from where?) for talking about your new ladder

I was just wondering how someone could steal something before u could use it, if you were not using it then it was not yours.....seems to me you guys are the real theifs and stealing it from them......I could be wrong but thats how it sounds to me.
