I saw a recent screenshot that mentioned Bismarck as leader of the German faction, so it may be possible that Germany has two leaders in the game (the other being Frederick the Great), despite earlier reports that Germany only has one leader (perhaps to disuade Hitler fans).

If that is so, I would bet that Russia is the other civ with two leaders, and that the selection is either Catherine the Great or Vladimir Lenin.

Spain might not be a bad bet for two leaders

CivFanatics says that Russia and Germany are the other civs with two leaders, consisting of Frederick the Great and Otto von Bismarck, and Catherine the Great and Peter the Great, respectively. (Though I've seen no evidence of Catherine as I have with the other three.)

Having both Catherine and Peter for Russia would suck imo, as I see their personalities as rather similar (moderately aggressive, builders, monarchy as favoured government), whereas having Lenin or Stalin (aggressive, communism and planned economy as favoured governments) in addition to Peter the Great would provide a variety.

Well, you could say that Lizzie was much more militaristic than Viccie, who would probably come across as a builder.

I think it would have been a better if they chose Victoria and Cromwell, But then again, I thought that the whole new civics models would have been ideal for a dramatic clash between Communism and Capitalism so what do I know ;p.

Both the Nationalist Socialist and Communist movements were really "flash-in-the-pan" phenomena. The fact that they were recent gets our attention.

for those who have not yet seen it, here's a complete list:

i can imagine the traits may change a little...

btw, why isn't cleopatra in anymore? isn't she legacy too by now?

I wouldn't focus too much on the historical correctness of leaders' traits, actually.

Every leader gets an unique trait combo (with two combos, Industrious/Philosophical and Creative/Industrious being left out). This means that some leaders will get less-than-obvious combination, only because someone else already got that. I think it's better for the sake of game play, even if not historically realistic for the Egyptians not to get industrious etc.

Having seen the combinations, I think my favourite civs will be either Chinese under Quin Shi Huang (industrious/financial for wonder/gold whore ) or Germans under Bismarck (industrious/expansive for wonder/population boom whore ).
