@Adm.Naismith: They can't show a modern era screenshot because the A.I. is so good that none at Firaxis can survive so long to reach modern times...
Yay! I guess we'll have to show them how

Yeah, it's a great conspiracy: Sid is a great artist that pay some others to work on Civ IV graphics only to compete (and often win) with its own beautiful screenshot and terrain mod.

Not enough: it started a parallel project, deceiving it under the "Humanitas" name just to whip his employee to do a better job...

      I bet not.

        Great!

Tell me more, oh farseer: will irrigations be adapted to terrain? I mean, in civ3 irrigations were different in desert, plain or grasslands. Will terrain have placeholders in order to add more variety?

Of course it might have something to do with the fact that back then I was playing Civ1 on the Amiga, and I had to insert another disk whenever I was adding something to the palace, so I didn't use it that much

Either that, or he is quoting from the song 'The Future's so Bright, I gotta wear Shades', which probably indicates that he plans to nuke all his opponents into oblivion !

On a more serious note, the more I see and hear about this game, the more I believe that I am gonna get soooo caned by the AI in my first dozen or so games!!!!

Yeah, with religious improvements becoming a sort of diplomatic tool, it is going to take time to figure out how to balance your civilizations religious power and military power.

Not to mention balancing out your military with upgrades and making the right choices as far as that goes.
