Luckily I'm too dumb to realize how bad those graphics are, the game looks great.

However, I do hope that I can turn off the "Ready for your orders" stuff when I select a unit. That gets real old after the 10,000 time.

In civ2 I've changed nearly every unit graphic, terrain graphic and city style, I imagine I'll get around to doing the same to CivIV if the game is worth the effort. I've learned to curb the graphics fear.

I rarely ever went OT, I've been away from poly for a couple months, just coming back now.

I like the graphics. They're very lively and bright, which I like in games. I've seen enough murky games.

Its a new look, but I'm sure I'll get used to it quickly.

Also don't forget they're playing the game all the time. Included 100 or so testers. If the graphic were hard to read or anything they would have changed them.

Unit scale is big, but that always been the case with Civ, don't really understand what is different now. Plus they're scalable anyway so there will be scale mods for sure, maybe even an ingame slider?

Wonder how those units will compare to the colossus wonder... he’ll have a hard time competing with the “puny” humans
