Yo, how about the Great Wall? (sorta miss this Wonder ) First one to build 10 (or so) forts in line gets the pop-up with bonus (like one in Civ 2 for example...), something like that one with circum-navigating the globe. Also it would be nice to see the graphic changed to forts merging in one line of wall...

Although to make things easier, just having X number of forts ANYWHERE in ones boarder ought to give the 'great wall' bonus, whatever that might be.

Just echoing this sentiment - would be useful to plop a fort down onto a resource or to plug a gap in one's terrain preventing settling by an enemy civ.

In all other versions of civ you could build fortesses without removing terrain features or previous built tile improvements. I wonder if it is possible to do that in Civ 4...
