MWHC's drunk thread
"If u barfed on yur keyboard wood u wash it of by a new one"
It was apparently a matter of imddediate importance to his during one of his drunken spam fests.
It included some desciption of the drinking binge with his wife and sister in law.
"My wife pass out on the couch. Damn she's looking good"
As well as soething like
"Ming, I love yu man"

Was that the name of the Black Sunday thread?
If we're going that far back, some of the old coffee shops were hilarious...
"We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work...After eight years of this Administration, we have just as much unemployment as when we started... And an enormous debt to boot!" — Henry Morgenthau, Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Treasury secretary, 1941.

We've had problems with threads like this in the past because "some" people decide to start a bunch of new silly/stupid/spam threads so that they can nominate their own.
To keep that stuff from happening, only threads that are at least 3 months old can be considered, or I will just close this thread to keep the same old crap that has happened before with these kind of threads from happening again.
My personal favorite was when EVC and his DL "Caesar whatever" were having a flame war with each other.
Classic stuff...

Good idea Ming. Unfortunately, my memory doesn't go that far back.![]()
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Any links where a n00b like me can read these "Don't post in this thread" - threads etc.? There was a link to some place but it had only Excellent Adventures and Story Threads.
Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

I think that most of these threads are lost , Kass. Something about not saving the achrives.![]()

Any of the 100's of "Flame the USA" make it a tight race.
Do any stand out?

However, when they switched to the new forum software, it was decided NOT to include the old OTF archives. It would have been far too much work. Most of the stuff was crap. And it would have taken too much time to go through each individual thread to determine what was crap and what wasn't. Plus, many people would probably disagree with any choices made.
Now, every thread started since the new software was installed can be found in the archives. (unless they were deleted by a mod).
However, some people did save their favorite threads to their hard drives... so who knows what might still be floating around from the old days![]()

All of the old Ferret adventure threads were in the old archives and lost.

Baron O RIP.
My favorite, is the thread "finish the sentance"...damn it was funny, I made a new one of these, but it didn't turn out to be a succes, since people kept talking in the thread, about what to do and what I shouldn't do (Would have been better just to PM instead...now the thread is ruined)
Anyway, here it is: (The "Finish the sentance" thread ...not my thread)

N00bie finns from Muro were hilarious. Not to mention the fact that the thread netted an insane amount of views, around 20k in a few weeks. Pretty good for an OT thread. Where ever I went, IRC, any Finnish forum, I ran into it.

3 hours after I posted it the thread was getting 1000 views an hour. Then the server crashed. It was insane.
I wouldn't say it's the funniest. It's not even my funniest, and others have come up with stuff that have really floored me.

I've seen funnier, yes, but it had such an impact . . . well, in Finland anyway.
The recent MST3K version of a Jack Chick pamphlet had me crying.

I'd like to write some more funny stuff for the OT. Unfortunately I've usually got to be seriously infuriated to do so, and I'm just too damned happy lately.

Sadly, I think I've deleted the diaries of AnnC. DinoDoc, if you'd please...?
