Oh I grew up. I realized how idiotic and impossible it was for me to be conservative. I gasp at what I used to believe in.

And why would I not be happy with my life? I know who I am, and I'm happy to be different. I'm not a sterile religious fanatic who has nothing going on in his life and lives in misery every single ****ing day. I take pride in that!

What is sad is how ironic we speak of stupidity and Ignorance in this thread, and here we may have an example of both.

This individual states to read a book to (I can assume perhaps incorrectly) understand tragic and horrific events.

I am probably incorrect in my assumption as this individual could have read a different book such as Dick and Jane or The Cat in the Hat or maybe something not as deep and delving into the human Psyche?????

Heck this person could have graduated from Carnegie Mellon University and is an economics major and is just saddened by the state of financial affairs around the world?
