No Texas, you can't deny people their legal rights by demanding irrelevant prerequisites.

Supreme Court strikes down Texas abortion access law

Washington (CNN)In a dramatic ruling, the Supreme Court on Monday threw out a Texas abortion access law in a victory to supporters of abortion rights who argued it would have shuttered all but a handful of clinics in the state.
The 5-3 ruling is the most significant decision from the Supreme Court on abortion in two decades and could serve to deter other states from passing so-called "clinic shutdown" laws.

He will just claim that the Supreme Court doesn't understand the constitution the way he does, and they are wrong.

Abortion as birth control is wrong.

No, I'll just claim that Thomas' opinion on the Supreme court decision is correct.

I'm surprised that Thomas is capable of writing opinions on his own. Maybe Scalia left him a bunch of pre-written opinions or something.

while I wouldn't say you are wrong, there's still a pretty steep emotional cost for the overwhelming majority of women who have gotten an abortion that i've met. So, It's not all "HURR DURR GET ME A COATHANGER AND ANOTHER HARVEY WALLCLIMBER." like it so often gets made out to me.

besides, abortions are way more fiscally conservative than having the state pay to raise a child to military age. I'd figure most conservatives would be all over that ****, but they're also against gay people getting married. BUT WHO HAS LESS ABORTIONS THAN GAY PEOPLE?

Black people aren't capable of having opinions unless a white person gives them one? Is that the point you were trying to make?

Wtf? It's not a race thing, DD. Thomas was Scalia's sub and wasn't allowed to speak in public. Show some respect for differing sexual practices, you bigot.

Yep. You might want to examine Buck vs Bell which was an 8-1 decision if you sincerely believe that the majority is always correct.

I believe insiders claimed that Scalia was actually the sub, Lori - Thomas just doesn't believe in the oral arguments part...
