So she really can't win this one. Either she comes off looking insincere about supporting victims rights or she comes off as an idiot for still believing.
      Tough spot.
No. It's both. She looks insincere, and she looks like an idiot.

Hillary might lose Iowa and New Hampshire because of her character.

Insisting someone wasn't actually raped isn't "victim blaming". Victim blaming would be acknowledging that someone was raped and then saying it's their fault they got raped.

It's weird when some people automatically assume that any woman who says that she was raped is lying... unless she says that she was raped by Bill Clinton, in which case not only is she telling the truth but somehow it's also Hillary's fault.

You mean someone in your fantasy world? No one in the real world says that every woman who claims to have been raped is lying.

The only thing people are blaming Clinton for is calling women who were abused by her husband liars.

The US will get the government it deserves (on average).

That's a bit flippant really, given the systematic erosion of education and propaganda that occurs over there, but you know, there is the NPR...

I suspect most of his absurdity is a front for getting talked about and when it actually was working morphed into for getting the R nomination. I would expect he'd tone it way back to slightly right of center (but still with flair) in the general and then mainly just do what his advisers told him in office with sole intent to get re-elected. I think as long as he's in front of the cameras that's all he really cares about, basically issue agnostic (other than the issue of Trump).

I think the Republican leadership basically agrees with you which is why you see Dole/etc come out more against Cruz than against Trump.

Dole is supporting Trump. Trump is the establishment guy. Trump is just doing this to take votes away from Cruz.

Cruz is far worse than Trump. Trump is just a rambling loon. Cruz is a self-serving opportunist.

A month ago Trump was the anti-establishment guy and now he's the establishment guy. Has he really changed that much in such a short span of time, or are you just unclear on what the word "establishment" means similarly to how you're unclear on what most other words mean?

First, a rambling loon is not better than a self-serving opportunist. Second, the establishment guys are the self-serving opportunists.
