      Never forget.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

As much as we should always remember, I do wonder about making such a big deal about the date. Sometimes it seems we're just reminding the terrorists of their biggest success.

Are you ****ing kidding me? Do we worry we might be reminding the Japanese of their victory in Pearl Harbor with Pearl Harbor day? You remember these events so that the complacency and incompetence that lead to them aren't repeated. Of course, that doesn't seem to be doing much good given the present state of affairs. People have a short memory after all.

The Japanese are not our enemies anymore. Terrorists still are.
So no, I'm not kidding you.

I see nothing wrong with reminding them that we'll. never forget and that ultimately, their ass is grass.

As long as their ass is grass that's not a problem. I was just looking at it from a different angle.
Especially when you read quotes where they say they're looking for the next 9/11 or they're looking to top it.

Gotta disagree with you Rah, remembering it is what lets us remember not to let it happen again.

Just trying to get opinions. As I said originally, I think it's important to remember, I was just trying to get a feel if too much is too much.

At least, not on September 11. A friend of mine from Nashville was flying on business today. He said the airports had noticeably more security, and noticeably fewer passengers than usual.

The terrorists will need to pick a new date.

Yeah, the U.S. should celebrate a day of terrorist failure. Like the UK does every November 5th.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

I doubt Pearl Harbor would get the same attention if we had lost WWII.
