I would have thought that part of history was learning to look at the bias of the source and if there is potential bias, look for multiple supporting sources ideally without bias.

In this case we have someone involved PETA, so there is the evidence of bias for supporting vegan lifesyle.

And the work in question has been thoroughly analysed by other experts in the field and found to have significant selection and exclusion biases in his approach, in fact if you look you can't find any supporting sources that aren't directly linked to the author.

This is a well known myth. The only reason I'd post it at all is that Pekka should discuss any change like this with his doctors. Not only is there no evidence it will help, but no-ones properly tested whether it might actually be worse for a patient.

With climate change you similarly go with the massive consensus of global climate scientists not few people who's claims are easily discredited and who turn out to be sponsored by oil firms.

This applies equally to FakeBoris' beliefs in PETA as do yours in Weather Underground. It's interesting that you attack climate deniers. Either the science backs you or it does not.

Global warming advocates predicted that the arctic would be ice free by now. It is not. Ice has expanded.

Ergo one can conclude that the methodology is at best, flawed, and at worse, that the entire theory is bunk.

Is that not science? Make predictions based on your hypothesis. Wait. See whether said predictions come true? If the predictions do not, then there is something wrong with the theory.

The claim that the ice would melt? We don't see it. Ice is growing. Temperatures are not increasing since the 80s and have actually gone down since then, contrary to predictions. Of course, when you alter the prediction to 'change', you no longer have a scientific theory. You have volcano worship. Maybe we should sacrifice virgins if we can find them?

There's a massive difference between reducing risk of cancer, and what nutrition is needed whilst being treated.

Cancer patients often need a lot of help with nutrition because of the effects of different drugs and one of the common problems is lack of protein and lack of appetite. So suggesting a vegan diet which requires large amounts of food to gain enough protein for people who have high protein requirements but low appetite is not necessarily a great idea.

Again, this is contrary to the predictions. Clearly the present models are wrong.

As for the actual 'rise', it's a data artifact of cherry picking.

The El Chichon eruption is interesting because one of the strongest El Nino events, some say the strongest ever, occurred just after it. These two events had an interesting interplay for it seems that the global temperature rise induced by the warm water of the El Nino was offset by the cooling effect of the stratospheric aerosols from El Chichon

You pick the lowest temperature year and then run your charts from there...

The highest temperature year was 1997. Since then it's cooled. That's 16 years where the temperature has not only not risen, but fallen back.

We are far more likely to see the onset of another glaciation period as we are in an interglacial now.

For that, I reckon you need to be looking at how to stay physically as strong as possible.

So, smoke weed to keep yourself hungry and eat pizza to keep yourself fat + happy. War is hell.

The Earth is getting colder?

Even if it was getting colder, since when was "religion" nothing more than holding onto a belief regardless of contrary evidence? That sounds like how an atheist might caricature religion and not how religion is understood by a sincerely religious person.
