What do we do to preserve anon when a war breaks out without Poly a/c's? If I need a timer extension I will be unable to ask for it without everyone knowing who I am IG. I cannot even PM you as you are also in the Game.

Setting up anonymous accounts is a lot of work. Maybe everybody can setup an account for himself, then I'll turn them into diplo accounts.
Just name them "civname (DoD)"
ie. France (DoD)
or. The Netherlands (DoD)
and post here with your account when you're done.

We didn't get into discussion about extending it for war. Double moves aren't banned although I would appeal to everyone's sense of good sportsmanship here.. This is not a full diplo but a simpletons game
And I'm against setting up diplo Apolyton accounts as PYT is a one stop shop we agreed on.

Now an average turn is 9h.47', we could add an other 30 mins or so.
It does only accept integers. I've made it 9 hours now.
Effectively around 11 hours.

If PYT is to be our primary means of communication then would the 5 remaining players who have not registered please do so.
This is not a Diplo-Game, more of a 'friendly' Kill or be Killed, but diplomacy is still an important part of any MP Game.

Just communicate in-game if the person you want to talk to isn't listed on PYT. This shouldn't be that difficult.
France/Napoleon is not really playing it's turns.
He played a couple of turns, a long time ago, since then he's idle.

Strange error here.
I try to connect and I am told I am connecting to peer - fine this is common - but there is nobody else logged on according to PYT. The error is then compounded by telling me that I am being blocked by someone else joining the game?
I have had some connectivity issues recently but nothing like these funny error messages.

Barbs are bound to turn up soon so take care to be ready. There is no excuse for weak defense.
