I am sure there are fairline units that would meet your needs.
If you check out Exile's 'Age of Crusades' - It has some good units of this type.
Ok, here's some units I drew up for a ToT conversion of Carl Fritz's scenario 'Empire', which covers the Seven Years War in North America. I'm making up some American War of Independence units to follow soon, and if there's any interest I'll continue the 7YW units with Prussians, Russians, Austro-Hungarians and Bavarians.

I remember seeing some mighty fine American Civil War units (not sure of the artist) while flicking through ?thread? a while ago. There were ones off many different Regiments all in different uniforms.
I was planning to modify the graphics, ever so slightly, of Nemos classic ACW scenario for a friend who is into the period.
If anyone knows which thread these units live in please put me out of my misery!

I´m ready with nearly 80% of the scenario.
