              Hey hey hey, nice to see some people around my age play this games. I'm 31 and browse and post this forum at work.
              Maybe we, the 30 something player should unite and create a clan called "30UP" hehe.......

                    Oh, you won't have time! But why should that stop you? Hasn't stopped me. Of course, I can't do the on-line stuff these days with two kids. I really do miss that. I used to *love* my clan games back with AoE...

                      37 & a Grandad. I think it's a shame there's not more 'kids' playing RTS games. None of mine ever got into gaming, they can't understand the concept. Gonna try to get my gand-daughter into Gaming when she's a little older. They all think I'm mad & eccentric coz I don't watch any tv, but gaming is great 'mental-exercise' whereas tv is great for turning the mind into 'slush'. .

                      I think if more 'kids/youths' were into gaming, we'd have a lot less 'youth-related crime', they'd be too busy trying to outsmart the excellent sp ai in RoN.

                      By the way, what is 'lol'?

                        LOL = Laughing Out Loud

                        Of course, the grammatical term really is 'Laughing Aloud,' but what'cha gonna do?

                            Amen to that

                            uglyduck: I hope when I hit my 60's I'll be able to still play computer/video games. Keep on gaming.

                            Me I'm 36 and love browsing the forums while at work then going home to play. That's of course when my kid goes to bed and the wife says it's ok!!!

                                This is a great thread. Funny thing is, I checked it while at work, (am 34), and couldn't stop laughing.

                                Just classic!

                                On a side note, when WarCraft 3 was released, and I consistantly kept getting my butt handed to me in skirmish games against the A.I. , I thought my days of RTS gaming were over. "Well, I guess it's Age of Wonders II for the rest of my life" is what I thought. Thank BHG for Rise of Nations. "Hello RTS, I'm back baby!"

                                Oh, and I am totally up for the idea of the 30 - 40 year olds getting together for some multiplayer.... would be great!
